Story:

The legendary online game "Yggdrasil" suddenly closes. Wishing to stay in the beloved world longer, the player who controls the character named Momonga, decides to stay in the game until the complete shutdown of the servers. Momonga – the head of one of the top guild, representing the game "dark" side. At the moment of server shutdown, he gathered all his servants in the main hall of the guild, sat on the throne and began to wait for the inevitable. But the incredible thing happened: the server did not interrupt the connection, the game continued, and Momonga turned into a skeleton, a powerful wizard. The non-game characters suddenly began to show human emotions. Not having parents, friends and a place in society, Momonga decides not to try to find a way out of the game, and stay in the new world, in order to win it.
