Cedric Reid chooses to use a mysterious notebook he finds in a parallel dimension filled of evil creatures, which he can use to absorb the powers of other supernatural beings and punish the evil. The notebook also has the ability to make anything written in it come true. Later on in the effort to purge the globe of evil, he joins an elite cadre of special operatives.
