Story:

The viral parasites known as "Gastrea" have already conquered humanity in the near future. They are in exile in a limited area, where they coexist with horror and live in despair. Rentaro, a young man from the Tokyo area who works for the "Civil Security," a group dedicated to battling the Gastrea, is accustomed to taking on risky assignments in this world of darkness. Enju is his partner, a bright little child. They battle while utilizing their strange abilities until they one day get a unique assignment from the government.
